Through an exclusive agreement with PBS (National Datacast), UpdateLogic® is installing unique data insertion servers and other related equipment at a nationwide network of PBS stations. The UpdateTV solution leverages a network operations center owned and operated by UpdateLogic to deliver data to these unique data insertion servers simultaneously. These UpdateTV Servers then reformat the software update in accordance with ATSC A/97 specifications and insert the data into the broadcast stream for terrestrial distribution.
 
These nationwide terrestrial broadcasts allow direct access to Digital Television (DTV) receivers and other devices with antennas (as well as direct entry to cable networks without the need for additional cable infrastructure).

UpdateTV can proactively update software for any digital device with a connected ATSC antenna including DTV sets and digital-to-analog converter boxes.
