Dr. Glenn Adams - President, XFSI

Dr. Glenn Adams has extensive technology experience in the digital TV arena. In 2001, he founded XFSI to pursue the development of interactive and multimedia content technologies in the arenas of digital TV and digital versatile disc (DVD) content platforms.

Prior to founding XFSI, Dr. Adams was principal architect of DTV Technologies for Gemstar – TV Guide. He is considered a key contributor in the area of technology standardization within the ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee), SMPTE, in the OpenCable process, in the W3C (Worldwide Web Consortium), and in both the International Standards Organization (ISO) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

John Brennan - Executive-In-Residence at Pod Holding

John Brennan is currently executive-in-residence at Pod Holding, Inc., a Boston- and Stockholm-based venture capital firm specializing in software and technology.

Over the last 20 years he has served as founder, executive officer, board member and private investor at a number of successful technology and software companies and start-ups. He was a founder of SystemSoft, Puma Technology, Cablesoft, and Corestreet, Ltd., among others, and now serves on the board of Bluestreak, Inc., a leading online advertising company.

Henry Derovanessian - Vice President of Marketing for Conexant's Broadband Media Business

Henry Derovanessian brings more than 20 years of experience developing products in the field of consumer electronics. Henry is currently the vice president of marketing for Conexant Broadband Media Business, where he is responsible for executing the global product marketing strategy, focusing on digital satellite, digital cable, IPTV, PCTV, and Digital TV markets.

Prior to joining Conexant, Henry served as vice president of engineering in Sony Electronics’ Digital TV group, where he developed key technologies and products for Sony's North American consumer market.

Patrick Forde - Vice President, New Technology Integration for Insight Communications

Mr. Forde joined Insight in 1999. His key responsibilities include integrating and rolling out new services such as the Insight Digital Gateway programming package, interactive services such as Video On Demand (VOD) and Local Source, cable modems, and HFC telephony.

Prior to joining Insight, from 1997 through 1999, Mr. Forde was Product Manager, Headend Optics with General Instrument Corporation.

Before General Instrument, Mr. Forde served as Sales Engineer/Account Manager for Antec Corporation between 1993 and 1997, in the role of selling equipment for HFC networks.

Michael Gallagher - Partner with Perkins Coie, LLP

Michael Gallagher is a partner with Perkins Coie, LLP in their Washington DC office and the former assistant secretary of commerce for communications and information and administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). He was appointed to the post by President George W. Bush on July 1, 2004, and confirmed by the Senate in November that year, after serving as acting assistant secretary since August 2003.

Under his leadership, the NTIA set world-leading policies in a number of areas including, ultrawideband, millimeter wavelength communications, third-generation wireless services, dynamic frequency selection in the 5 GHz frequency band, and broadband over powerlines.

Before joining the Commerce Department, Gallagher held a number of public policy positions with AirTouch Communications, Vodafone-AirTouch, and Verizon Wireless.

Shinji Takada - Leaf Consulting

Mr. Shinji Takada has many years of experience in establishing and managing new digital projects within Sony Corporation. Takada-san is skilled at helping Japanese companies, such as Sony, negotiate and cooperate with various companies in US and Europe.

In 2005, Takada-san established Leaf Consulting Company where he now assists with the development of DTV and IPTV technology and business opportunities and provides advice for STB, DTV, DRM, Codec and digital products companies, such as UpdateLogic.

Prior to Leaf, Takada-san held many high-level positions at Sony including General Manager for Broadband Strategy, General Manager for AirTact, and Senior VP for digital STBs (Cablevision) and digital recording products (TiVo), General Manager of Digital Broadcast System technology (DirecTV), and General Manager for Digital Interface Technology (IEEE 1394) group.
